3OC6HSL + LuxR reporter and aiia (LVA+) tuning device
This device uses the S01656 module to encode IPTG (or lactose) inducible aiia (LVA+), allowing the tuning of 3OC6HSL degradation activity in lactose tune-able E.coli strains. The presence of the 3OC6HSL and the LuxR protein is read out by the I6042 module.
Usage and Biology
AiiA LVA+ in this system is capable of inhibiting a leaky 3OC6HSL promoter significantly. However, it is not active enough to completely inhibit I15030, the strong 3OC6HSL amplifier -JT 10_26_05
