Coding sequence for PARP1 (poly [ADP-ribose] polymerase 1) H. sapiens
Coding sequence for PARP1 (poly[ADP-ribose] polymerase 1) which is instrumental in detecting damaged DNA, directly binding to it and catalyzing its repair. During apoptosis, PARP1 is typically cleaved, inhibiting its function (Oliver et al., 1999). The sequence was originally obtained from NCBI (accession # NM_001618.3). This sequence was modified to remove internal restriction sites by changing the third base of the codons at these sites.
