FabHAF promoter

FabHAF is an operon of Bacillus subtilis that "codes for the FAbHA and FabF condensing enzymes" (663), which are responsible for the elongation of fatty acid in the bacterial membrane. The transcription factor FapR upregulates fabHAF in response to fatty acid deprivation, which occurs in presence of "inhibitors of fatty acid synthesis such as cerulenin and triclosan" (665).
