YopH-RR under inducible promotor
YopH-RR under Fig1 promoter
Usage and Biology
YopH is a bacterial protein tyrosine phosphorylase. It catalyzes the removal of the phosphate from the tyrosine side chain present in the MAPK activation loop, therefore inactivating the kinase in an reversible manner. Here, YopH is N-terminally fused to mCherry, and C-terminally to the synthetic leucine zipper RR; being expressed under control of a Fig1 promoter (induced by activation of the mating pathway).
