HMTM1-EE under weak constitutive promoter
Usage and Biology
Construct is under control of pSte5, a weak constitutive promoter.
EE is one half of the EE-RR leucine zipper interaction, which has a dissociation constant in the nanomolar range.
HMTM1 stands for Human Myotubularin(MTM) related protein 1. HMTM1 binds Phosphatidylinositol 3-Phosphate (PI[3]P) and Phospatidylinosotol 3,5-Phosphate (PI[3,5]P) as substrates and dephosphorylates them at the 3-Phosphate position.
