Part:BBa_I744204
Tc sensor and cl lambda generator (Tet promoter)
Tc -> EYFP + CI (lambda)
This part serves as a sensor and reporter of intracellular tetracycline concentrations as well as producing cl (lambda) corresponding to the level of Tc. It uses the tetR promoter to control tetR concentration through a negative feedback loop, thus increasing and stabilizing sensitivity. The sensor and reporter portions are identical to Part:BBa_I744104.
By adding the output of cI (lambda) to the Tetracyline sensor, this circuit can now communicate the measured Tc concentration. The cI protein can be used to signal to other synthetic circuits or even to natural circuits within bacteriophage lambda.
