Xylene sensor for creation of reporter constructs
This is the full XylR gene plus its target promoter. XylR encodes a transcriptional regulator which binds environmental xylene and activates transcription from its target promoter - Pu. A reporter gene can be inserted downstream of Pu to create a biosensor.
Usage and Biology
If this promoter does not work, try using the secondary version (BBa_I723140).
