Carboxyl half of CAT (aka 2Chlora)
This is the Carboxy half of the Chloramphenicol Acetyltransferase gene. It is 504 base pairs long. The sequence also has a thymine base inserted at the 5' end of primer C. This half of CAT is going to eventually have a HixC site inserted before it and right after the amino half. We shall then test to see if the CAT gene would work with Hix C in between it
