mRFP1-NLS, targeted to the nucleus

Monomeric red fluorescent protein (mRFP1) is a derivative of the red fluorescent protein cloned from Discosoma coral (DsRed) (1). The successful use of mRFP1 in Aspergillus nidulans has previously been described (2).
