This primer was designed with a region to flank the 5' terminus of the gene NapA in Paraccocus denitrificans PD1222 part of the plasmid (NCBI ID:CP000491.1) located between base pairs (207310 and 209805). The primer contains the addition of the restriction site NdeI and 6 bases to allow the cut of the restriction endonuclease. The introduction of the unique restriction site NdeI into the gene NapA allows the precise introduction of NapA in the plasmid vector pet 23 a (+) for further protein expression and purification. The primer contains 16 bp DNA binding region.
