As for project design, we proposed to utilize small molecule metabolites screened from the Gut Microbial Metabolite Library to bind to the autoantibodies in brain of children with ASD by competitive inhibition, thus blocking autoantibody to neurons and alleviating neural damage to a certain extent in an immune-related subtype of ASD. For GM1 antibody we choose ferrichrome as the small molecule metabolite to degrade the antibody. So we search the synthetic pathway of ferrichrome in website metacyc and find the key enzyme in the synthetic pathway of ferrichrome. Then we use database uniprot to find the enzyme which have the same function in Lactobacillus plantarum. As we have got the amino acid sequence of enzyme,we use DNAfasta database to get the DNA sequence of this enzyme. At last we use NCBI to blast the sequence with our Lactobacillus plantarum L168 and lock the sequence we need.
