EG1(Trichoderma sp. SSL endoglucanase I)

Cellulase is a complex mixture, including three different compounds: endoglucanase, Cellobiohydrolase and β-glucosidase, which have three different working modes. To cut the link between ink and cellulat without digesting our paper and making our system too complex, we need a single enzyme which aims to work horizontally, like a brush clearing off all the ink on the surface of paper. Luckily, endoglucanase is the one which randomly cleaves the amorphous region of the cellulose chain, while other two enzymes begin cleavation at chain ends, producing monosaccharide. Whatsmore, endoglucanase prefer to cut tight cellulose chain, for example those embeded by ink。 So we chose EG1 and AF-EGL7 as nominates of endoglucanase, they can maintain enough activity at RT, have high resistance to PH changing and Cu2+ concentration, so our system can work without caring too much. Also, AF-EGL7 has two CBM1 domain, binding to Polysaccharide substrates, such as papers
