oriV from the Staphylococcus aureus pSK41 Plasmid

This construct contains the origin of replication (oriV) from pSK41, a multiresistance plasmid from Staphylococcus aureus. This plasmid is low copy number and undergoes theta-mode of replication (Berg et al., 1998). pSK41 was first found in methicillin-resistant S. aureus (Kwong, 2006). The oriV is part of a replication region that spans a 1.25 kb section (nt 12916-14164) on the pSK41.

This part was DNA synthesized.
