pyruvate decarboxyase

PDC is the abbreviation of pyruvate decarboxyase. It is one of enzymes in the pyruvate to ethanol pathway. It processes pyruvate into acetaldehyde. NYMU-Taipei2013 iGEM team cloned it from Zymomonas mobilis via PCR. NYMU NO7 ethanol-producing.png
