ent-Kaurene Oxidase from Gibberella fujikuroi
Kauren Oxidase
This part contains the sequence of an enzyme converting ent-Kauren to entKaurenoic acid via a three step oxidation. This enzyme belongs to the family of p450 Monooxigenasen. It possesses an ER anchor and only works in the presence of a p450 Reductase.
This enzyme originates to Gibberella fujikuroi but has homologues in some fungi and analogues in many organisms specially plants.
