amber supressor tRNA
In genetic code expansion, amber suppressor tRNAs are used to carry unnatural amino acids into the ribosome, where they can replace normal amino acids. When the amber codon in the mRNA is read by the ribosome, the amber suppressor tRNA inserts the unnatural amino acid into the growing polypeptide chain instead of terminating protein synthesis.
