nitR_L117W
This protein is expected to bind to valerolactam. It is modified by our team by mutating the 117th residue leucine to tryptophan. We have modified the protein as it was reported that L117W is a mutant of nitR which is the second most sensitive to ε-caprolactam. This protein is found present in Alcaligenes faecalis. [1]
