Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis (Bd) ITS region qPCR forward primer

Quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) used as the golden standard to compare to our results with RPA and LAMP. The ITS (internal transcribed spacer) region is highly conserved and widely used as the DNA barcode region in fungi. qPCR allows the quantification and detection of the specific DNA sequence in real time. It measures the concentration of probes or fluorescent dyes while the synthesis process is taking place. Note: Primer was synthetically designed for the different gblocks we have for both Bd and Bsal and matches a forward primer for Bd RPA.
