T7 lysozyme for Type IIS standard (RFC1000)
BBa_K3425036 is the T7 lysozyme (BBa_K2442372) adapted to the Type IIS iGEM assembly standard by removal of the ATG start codon. The start codon ATG is included in the scar between RBS element and coding sequence, when the Type IIS standard is used.
T7 lysozyme is a natural inhibitor of the T7 RNA polymerase. Combination of these two elements might be used for creating of tightly regulated inducible systems.
