Carbonicanhydrase

Carbonicanhydrase B3-B4

Our carbonic anhydrase constructs are supposed to enhance chlamydomanas reinhardtii´s capability to use carbonic acid as a carbon source. The Aminoacid-sequence of our carbonic anhydrase was obtained via uniprot. The enzyme catalyzes the reaction depicted below. Chararacterization of this part may be possible by using media with different concentrations of carbonic acid in a algae growth measurement. Sadly we didn´t have time to plan and carry out any transformations or characterizations with this part. This sequence also contains two rbcS2i1 introns inserted as suggest by Baier et al, 2018.
