TrbA transcription factor for the Tra2 operon in incP alpha conjugation
TrbA - Transcription factor for the Tra2 operon in incP alpha conjugation
In RP1 and RP4 plasmids, it shares a promoter region with TrfA (gene associated with incP plasmid replication). The TrfA promoter usually has a stronger affinity for DNA polymerase until the plasmid switches from replication to conjugation through the binding of KorA and KorB. When KorA and KorB bind the the promoter region of TrbA and TrfA, transcription of TrbA becomes more favorable.
Part includes just the TrbA ORF.
