Applications of BBa_K320005

We used this BioBrick to characterize the promoter we want to use in Asaia BBa_K320002. By measuring the CFP fluorescence over time, we can infer the activity of the promoter. To check whether the presence of CFP or the construct reduces the growth of the cells, we measured the optical density and compared it to a WT-E.coli.
Both measurements were done simultaneously in the E. coli strain DH5a over 970 minutes (16 hours) at 37°C and the results are averaged over 6 samples.
The controls for the autofluorescence and the growth curve were done with a WT strain of DH5a.
