vioA-AB (BioBytes 2.0)

A component of the Vio Operon which is used to produce a light green pigment from L-tyrosine. Depending on which parts of the operon are available, a different colour will be produced. Please note this piece is "naked", meaning it does not contain a promoter, an RBS, or start and stop codons. The promoter and terminator is intended to be reconstituted through the adjoining BA BioBytes attached through the BioBytes 2.0 assembly method. Sequence and Features
