vioD-AB (BioBytes 2.0)
From the Vio Operon. Used to produce a light green pigment from L-tyrosine. Depending on which parts of the operon are available a different colour will be produced. Please note this piece is "naked" meaning it does not contain a promoter or RBS or start or stop codon. The promoter and terminator are intended to be reconstituted through the adjoining linker bytes attached through the BioBytes Assembly Method 2.0.
