Lumazine is a Protein that affect the wavelength of the emitted light from the LuxABCDE operon, it has been isolated from Photobacterium phosphoreum. The lumazine proteins shift the color of the light to shorter wavelengths than 490 nm, around 475 nm.
Lumazine is already at the registry page, submitted by Edinburgh team 2009.See the Part entry BBa_K216007.
