KatG E. coli dCas9 gRNA

This part codes for an E. coli KatG targetting gRNA insert with BsaI sites. The gRNA insert was designed with chop chop to target native E. coli KatG. The BsaI sites allow it to be inserted into the dCas9 system.

This system is used to reduce native E. coli KatG levels, in order to achieve maximal levels of KatG production from introduced plasmid systems.
