PcW

A common weak constitutive promoter in Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

Usage and Biology

We select PcW as the replacing promoter of hok/mok through paper research for its weak function of starting genetic expression. By this way we are able to secure the expression intensity of sok is stronger than hok/mok when there is citrate in the environment, preventing cell death in advanced.
