minimal CMV
Minimal version of the Cytomegalovirus (CMV) promoter for expression in mammalian cells. miniCMV is a shorter version of the full-length CMV promoter that retains core elements of the CMV promoter for basic transcriptional activity. This variant of miniCMV was originally used as part of a Gal4UAS system (**BBa_K4839011)**, where it was placed downstream of upstream activating sequence (UAS) [1]. Upon binding of Gal4VP64 (href="http://parts.igem.org/Part:BBa_K3132000">BBa_K3132000), the activity of miniCMV is enhanced, driving the expression of downstream genes. Sequence and Features
