Applications of BBa_K208038

This part is used for phasin secretion. The same general structure of this composite part could be used to for the secretion of other proteins. Other proteins of interest would need to be made Silver-fusion compatible. The signal peptides designed by USU iGEM 2009 are all Silver-fusion compatible and can be used to study protein secretion.
