Applications of BBa_K5332000

Administering the engineered bacteria FMK designed by us to a mouse colitis model by gavage resulted in a recovery of colon length shortening, inhibition of immune cell recruitment, enrichment of beneficial bacteria in the gut, and an increase in gut microbiota diversity. The upregulation of pro-inflammatory factors and the downregulation of anti-inflammatory factors are also inhibited accordingly. The above results indicate that the gene element designed by our team can fully exert the expected results in the vector cell EcN and has good effects.
