SPINK8 Secretion Device

This composite part produces and secretes SPINK6, a serine protease inhibitor. The SPINK6 sequence on its N-terminal has a histidine purification tag connected with a linker. On the C-terminal is the Hly-A secretion signal marking the protein for secretion through the type 1 secretion pathway, which is connected with a TEV signal peptide sequence that is recognized by the TEV protease to be cleaved after secretion. The composite is reinforced with an Anderson promoter, RBS, and terminator.
