Design Notes

The combination of the parts Fok_a and mVenus-YFP was done to gain information about protein expression. The mVenusYFP is a proven Biobrick of the [http://parts.mit.edu/igem07/index.php/Freiburg team Freiburg07]. Thus, Venus fusion proteins give an easy to visualize readout of protein expression and are also good detectable by western blotting.
