Applications of BBa_K5332001

Many diseases cause local inflammatory reactions in the human body and the concentration of reactive oxygen species in these areas will increase. The parts of the katG promoter base sequence that can efficiently respond to ROS and enable gene transcription can respond well to this environment. When the base fragment is put into the plasmid and then linked to the target gene, once the engineered bacteria reach the inflammation site of the patient, the target gene can immediately respond and be expressed through the katG promoter. In this way, engineered bacteria can achieve the purpose of targeted therapy.
