GyrB-SG-SG-CutA1

This part is made of two domains – GyrB, a 24 kDa fragment of gyrase subunit B, and CutA1, a copper binding protein. It is one of the constructs whose assembly can be regulated. When an aminocoumarin antibiotic called coumermycin is added, GyrB domains dimerize. Because this is a combination of dimerization and trimerization domains, the resulting structure is a lattice with hexagonal pores. Another aminocoumarin antibiotic novobiocin inhibits this structure. This part is similar to GyrB-CutA1 (BBa_K245050) but has extended linker according to Standard 37.
