prosseA promoter

The prosseA promoter with a strong rbs. The prosseA promoter comes from pathogenic bacteria Samonella 7207 strain. It is the Salmonella pathogenicity island II regulator. SsrB is autoregulated and activates expression of SPI-2 and SPI-2 co-regulated genes in response to an unknown signal(s).SsrB is autoregulated and activates expression of SPI-2 and SPI-2 co-regulated genes in response to an unknown signal(s). The preliminary data in our lab shows that the activation this regulator depends on the presence of SsrB protein without SsrA on the chromosome of E.coli and salmonella (single copy). However, when we use this prosseA based on the plasmid (not single copy) it can trigger high gene expression level.
