MCP-MMP9 Nanobody2

In our engineered switch, we've incorporated MCP protein into a nanobody that specifically recognizes MMP9. MMP9 is an enzyme that is elevated inside cells during injury. When injury occurs, the increased MMP9 binds to the nanobody, triggering a change in the switch's structure. This structural change causes a specific mRNA molecule to be transformed into a circular form, which promotes its translation into a protein called YAP.
