FAST-PETase

Usage and Biology

FASTPETase is a natural enzyme mutant identified by Professor Hal Alper of the University of Texas at Austin through engineering modification and testing. It can hydrolyze MHET from PET and has higher PET degradation activity compared to wild-type and engineered alternatives.
