Caf1-AMP 557
Caf1-AMP 557 is part of the caf1 network which is used for antibacterial function.
What is it?
Caf1-AMP557 is a protein a part of the network of various caf1 parts and mainly serves an antimicrobial function. Through cooling, the caf1 component can be used to polymerize the protein with other caf1 parts. The AMP557 is an antimicrobial peptide that can effectively inhibit P. acne.
Usage and Biology
Through Caf1’s ability to form a net with other caf1 proteins alongside the use of his-tags, P. acne can also be trapped by the caf1 network. Caf1-AMP557 can also inhibit P. acne through its AMP557 component.
