blaVIM-2 coding sequence

This part encodes the metallo-beta-lactamase VIM-2. This enzyme can degrade all beta-lactams except for monobactams. It was used as a core compound in the CADABRA enzyme cocktail developed by the iGEM Bulgaria 2022 team. This cell-free MBL extract is able to successfully degrade meropenem in various liquid samples thus reducing the levels of carbapenem resistance.
