Glycine max Polyubiquitin Promoter (Gmubi)

Glycine max Polyubiquitin Promoter, also known as Gmubi, is a constitutive promoter that is found in soybeans. Polyubiquitin promoters are widely used in plant synthetic biology for constitutive gene expression. Because transgenic soybeans occupy more acreage of farmland than any other transgenic crops, Gmubi is an important promoter in the world of synthetic biology.
