Design Notes

Constitutively expressed XVE (Ba_K4399014) transcription factor could be activated in presence of β-estrogen, then entry cell nucleus, bind to LexA-35S (BBa_K3900024) promoter, thus activate expression of SbMYB75 (BBa_K4399003) and SbDEL (BBa_K4399004). The two transcription factor can switch on endogenous structural genes for anthocyanins biosynthesis. The constitutive GFP (BBa_K4399002) expression box was employed to facilitate screening of transformants.
