mazE(codon optimization for Bacillus subtilis)

Encodes the unstable antitoxin to mazF in E.coli. Codon has been optimized for the expression in Bacillus subtilis. It is used in conjungtion with mazF in our chassis (Bacillus subtilis) to provide a toxin-antitoxin kill swich to prevent the escape of engineered bacteria in to environment in certain stressful condictions. When the expression of mazE and mazF is turned off (under control of the same promoter), mazE will be degraded faster than mazF. Non-specific ribonucleic acid endonuclease activity of mazF will kill the engineered bacteria.
