Design Notes

The sequence of the native gene STRBO_RS0123570 of Streptomyces bottropensis ATCC 25435 has been codon optimized for an expression in E. coli . Indeed, the Streptomyces genomes are GC rich (circa 72%), which requires extensive sequence optimization for expression in E. coli . For our project, the sequence has being cloned in pBAD33 by Golden Gate Assembly.
