TetR
tetR gene encodes TetR which is also called Tet repressor proteins.
Usage and Biology
In the natural world, TetR decreases the activity of repressor for the tetracycline resistance gene (tetA) promoter. (tetA) For the RemiDuET project, this part was used in the pRGPDuo2 [2] plasmid to regulate the tetR/tetA promoter.
