trrnB

  • trrnB is a terminator successfully expressed in cyanobacteria PCC6803.

Biology and usage

It shows that the termination factor is an important factor to be considered in the future bioengineering work of Cysticercus 6803.

Characterization:
These two native promoters are relatively weak in PCC 6803. We made this choice because excessive IAA would inhibit plant growth. For the terminator, we used a strong terminator called TrrnB.
