CXCL9 mRNA

This part contains a part of CXCL9 mRNA from human beings.
This antimicrobial gene is part of a chemokine superfamily that encodes secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The protein encoded is thought to be involved in T cell trafficking. The encoded protein binds to C-X-C motif chemokine 3 and is a chemoattractant for lymphocytes but not for neutrophils.

Usage and Biology

In the project, we designed igRNA to hybridize with CXCL9 mRNA.
To ensure the hybridization of CXCL9 mRNA and igRNA, we usedNUPACK webserver.to analyze the 2D structure of target RNA.

Three 39 bp single-strand sequences were selected as candidate hybridization region. Each hybridization region includes interacting sequence A and interacting sequence B.

Table 1. The segment used for testing. The three candidate hybridization regions are marked in green, blue and red. Interacting sequences are underlined.
