Applications of BBa_K3745001

rhlA plays an important role in the synthesis of rhamnolipids by utilizing Glycolysis or Gluconeogenesis, ß-oxidation, and Fatty acid. Specifically, 3-hydroxyacyl-CoA that is derived from ß-oxidation can compound with 3-hydroxyacyl-ACP under a special enzyme——RhlA to form 3-hydroxyalanoyl-3hydroxyalkanoyl(HAA)-ACP or S-CoA.
