Part:BBa_K3804009
Reporter for quorum sensing systems in yeast with qscR
We created this part with reference to BBa_K1024002 in order to signal when Pseudomonas aeruginosa exists. The part is composed of pTEF, Flag, VP16, NLS, QscR, ADH1 terminator, pQsc, Cyc100mini, mCherry and CYC1terminator. We improved BBa_K1024002 by adding ADH1 terminator and CYC1terminator and changed LuxR to QscR, pLux to pQsc. QscR is homolog of LusR. The QscR gene is constitutively expressed. On the other hands, activation of pQsc occurs only when sufficient amount of AHL exist in the environment. When pQsc was activated, mCherry is expressed and lets us know the existence of AHL.
