TXO ZntR regulated construct under BBa_K3380105 promoter expressing iSpinach

Fluorescent RNA aptamer construct flanked by F30 tRNA scaffolds to protect it from degradation. Its transcription is repressed by the ZntR transcription factor. Upon addition of Zinc, the promoter allows the E.coli sigma 70 polymerase to transcribe the construct, resulting in green fluorescence if the DFHBI fluorophore is added.


Usage and Biology

Can be used in cell-free systems as a biosensor.
