The CcdA protein provides immunity against the CcdB toxin by strongly complexing with it (CcdA-CcdB) and therefore prenventing the CcdB toxin to interact with the DNA gyrase.

This part is used with an aTc inducible promoter to form a new part BBa_K3482020 .
